When Leif Valin fist drew this, he wrote the words “Corporate Ritual” beneath it. Leif enjoyed poking fun at corporate businessman types (suits). This particular businessman is shaking hands while hiding a knife behind his back. Jim Spikelson was a name Leif made up for a corporate-sounding guy and I added the new title beneath it. This was Leif’s 1997 tee, which came after his classic Mug design. Trivia: besides Leigh Ramsdell, Leif was the longest-running sponsored rider for 2B and PLAY. He was there from the very beginning all the way to the end and Leif has remained one of my best friends to this day. Thanks for everything you did for us Leifer.
