Kevin Stotler sent in this photo of a 2B Homecooked BMX newsletter made by Steve Buddendeck called Grilled, featuring an interview with Vaun Stout. I would guess it was made in 1992. Pretty funny. Thanks Kevin!
This is the classic 2B baseball hat featuring the original oval embroidered logo. It was only made on black. It was one of my all-time favorites. Big thanks to Scotty Yoquelet for sending in this pic of his 2B hat which is still in surprisingly good condition and to Kevin Stotler for
Tossed Salad was the name of a jumping contest series that Steve and I ran, sponsored by 2B. Our original Tossed Salad tee was a bit simpler and this was the newer version that followed. It still features the same image of Mike Forney jumping out of the bowl in Landsdowne. Many thanks
Big thanks to Shawn Ross for posting a pic of his Bowling Team shirt by 2B. The artwork was done by Steve Buddendeck and portrays various members of the 2B racing team. Who’s who budman? The back had the same illustration but smaller in one color with the word TEAM beneath (see
This tee was just a huge 2B logo with some paisley design under it. That’s why we called it the Billboard. Available in 1992. Design by Steve Buddendeck.
This 2B logo (the Sex Object Racing Jersey) was designed for racing team riders and went on to become a standard shirt available to the public. Artwork by Steve Buddendeck. Available in 1992.
A huge thanks to Heath Balderston who sent me a scan of the first year catalog of 2B Homecooked products. (It probably appeared in his zine Elastic Grunt.) The Tarsier was one of my favorite early designs. What the hell is a tarsier you ask? It’s a tiny primate from the rainfore
This was one of 2B’s very first tee shirt designs and one of the funniest I think. Steve Buddendeck designed this one. It was a big phat gold chain with a 2B medallion on the end. Steve and I listened to a lot of hip-hop in those days. Many thanks to Heath Balderston for sending
Steve Buddendeck found this old 2B Postcard/catalog in a box under some shoelaces and ping pong balls. The photo on the front of Hal B and Steve B was taken by Rob Ben of Robzine.
Thanks to Mike FLood for letting me use this pic of him wearing his Perry Mervar pro model tee shirt from 2B Homecooked. Perry rode for 2B for a while and is an awesome guy.
